Moving is never easy, but when it is to a new country and a new continent, it couldn’t be tougher.  Aili and Julia Turner aren’t so sure they’re going to like living in Africa, even if they will be the daughters of a U.S. Ambassador.

All the strange new customs...kissing three times when you meet someone; the strange language...Moroccan Arabic is even different from classic Arabic!; the strange food...pigeon pie and camel’s milk? Well at least the mint tea was yummy.

As Aili and Julia settle into their new lives in Morocco, they make friends with a young Moroccan girl named Abla.  She seems like a nice girl, but her stepfather Aziz, a prominent businessman, is a little scary. When Aili accidently discovers he is exporting endangered animal skins, will anyone believe her? Will the girls be able to stop him?
