“Linux Free Software Designer and Computer Guru” Hans Reiser was tried in Oakland California and convicted of first degree murder of his missing Russian-born wife, Nina.  On July 7, 2008, two days before he was scheduled to be sentenced for the crime, he confessed and led authorities to Nina’s shallow grave in the Oakland Hills.
