District Flag Camping Competition
Congratulations to the patrol that entered the District Flag comptetition on the 21st and 22nd of June at Newbigging and came home with not only the Flag for the best patrol, but also the Targe for the cooking competition. The winning patrol pictured below consisted of Jack Brown (PL), Patrick West (APL), Michael Milne, Alex Ramsay, Callum Crighton and Duncan Pogson.
The Patrol for the National has Now been picked.
Summer Camp 2008 - Lochgoilhead Activity Centre
To continue a busy month the Troop was off to the Scout Outdoor Activity Centre at Lochgoilhead from 28th June to 5th July. Whilst at camp the Troop posted a Website with video and pictures from the camp, certainly beats sending a postcard. The site can be viewed at this link.
The Camp was a great success with all the Scouts gaining an activity badge in their chosen discipline and also 3 bronze and 2 silver Zodiac awards being completed.

Boot 24
From midday Saturday 27th Sept. Alyth Scouts and Explorers hiked continuously for 24 hours in relay teams. The teams clocked up a marvelous total of 607Km in total - to see all the details follow the link to Boot 24.
