Northside Church is affiliated with the Assemblies of God in Springfield, Missouri, but embraces people from a variety of theological backgrounds. We believe that unity is achieved by focusing on the Person and work of Jesus Christ rather than minor doctrinal differences.

Northside Church is a congregation-owned fellowship of believers, operating under a constitution and bylaws. The membership of the assembly is the governing body of the church. The Board of Directors, approved by the membership, meets regularly to seek God's leadership for the corporate body, and take care of the regular business of Northside Church. In addition to the Board of Directors, the pastoral staff and other leadership give input and direction in helping to carry out the work of the ministry.

Northside Church is reaching into the 21st century. NC is a full gospel church whose mission and purpose is to fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20) and the Great Commandment (Matthew 22:37-38). NC is committed as a body of believers to aggressively reach the lost of our community and world, to disciple and develop great people who serve God, and to bring glory to God through excellence in everything we do. All people are loved and accepted regardless of denomination, race, or economic status.
