Submission Guidelines
Here’s my advice- Listen to a few stories first.
There’s something specific we are looking for here- that weird idea you have, that hilarious or disturbing scenario you’ve been brooding over.
What we want:
Flash Fiction up to or around 2,000 words.
We generally Accept fantasy/sci-fi/horror stories that are humorous , bizarre, gross or disturbing. Really dark, heavy pieces that have lots of disturbing images or language stand less of a chance of being accepted.
Please include word count and bio information along with your story- plain or rich text - in the body of the email.
We currently offer 1.5 cents per word for stories 500-2000 words. In some special cases we will accept stories longer than 2000 words. It’s a very laid back system- we like to work with our authors a bit if necessary to make submissions work better in audio format.
Drabble stories (100 words) are published on a pro bono basis at this point.
Drabblecast holds no rights to your work- we won’t change it without your permission or sell it.
Reprints rock.
Send one story at a time please.
That’s about it- email stories or questions to drabblecast@yahoo.com

Insider tips:
Yes, we want good stories, but Ultimately it comes down to how well we can make it work in audio.
Luke likes pretentious stories that make him feel smart for understanding them.
kendall likes stories about poop and/or superheroes.
Norm likes stories where aliens fight each other.
