Dr. Carmelit Avraham Krehvinkel is an affiliate researcher at Nordoff Robbins Zentrum Witten. With years of experience in child, adolescent and family psychotherapy, Dr. Krehvinkel's expertise is in behavioural problems. Under the guidance of Prof. David Aldridge, she developed the Non-Violent Resistance model as a therapeutic model for short term interventions. The model addresses the needs of parents, and educators struggling with the phenomenon of a child/adolescent who displays escalating, violent behaviour.
Interdisciplinary in nature, her work draws upon her background in the areas of sociology, anthropology and philosophy. Her versatile activities, both on the clinical and research levels, are directed towards those issues that are especially relevant to society today.
