Institutional Co-operation We also go out from the Centre into the community and work in facilities with people who cannot make use of our direct provision in the Centre. For example, we work in residential homes for the elderly and in the hospice. Out-patient facility for adults Adults can experience musical improvisation through the Nordoff-Robbins approach to experience their own creativity, and discover new ways of expressing themselves. Community Project Development in Music, Art, and Culture. Out-patient music therapy with children We see children once a week on an individual basis. The session is documented on videotape and this forms the basis for our discussions with parents and relatives. We also use this material, with permission and when appropriate, to demonstrate this work to other people and agencies.
