Krewe of Oak’s Midsummer Mardi Gras “Gimme Shelter” parade rolled from Maple Leaf past Carrolton Station to Snake and Jake’s Christmas Club Lounge, giving all of us a reminder of what a night out in New Orleans can be like in the middle of summer. Last year’s parade fell right before evacuation. This year’s parade fell days before NOMRF’s Anti-Versary Aug. 28 and 29. Come on Down.
