Chicago Global Donors Network Annual Conference 2009
Last year, the Chicago Global Donors Network teamed up with the Northwestern University Center for Global Engagement, high schools, universities, and youth led nonprofits around Chicago to offer this first annual Youth Leadership in Connective Philanthropy.
YLCP helps young leaders learn how to leverage social networks for global philanthropy and build coalitions that can help solve global problems. Coinciding with the annual Chicago Global Donors Network conference, the two day program culminates with the students allocating real resources to youth-led projects around the world.
Last year’s inaugural YLCP class allocated $5,000 to the Mali Health Organizing Project, allowing MHOP to implement a community cleanup program impacting almost 30,000 people.
Will you join us?
Welcome to the second annual YLCP Program!
The YLCP program helps talented Chicago youth learn how to harness the power of global giving by helping them allocate real resources to youth-led projects around the world.
