Giving Back to the Community Project:
Building Unity and Vision

This day of learning will serve to: 
∗ Offer free day of interactive learning with professionals in the Charlotte area. 
∗ Promote the mental health and educational success of diverse persons in      
    Charlotte. 
∗ Foster advocacy competence, multicultural competence and human 
    development. 
∗ Increase participants' understanding of the ways in which multicultural and 
    social justice counseling interventions are being effectively implemented in 
    the field with clients from diverse backgrounds
