Nikki is currently touring on GOBSMACKED! SHOWBIZ + DATING with Jamie Burgess, to premiere in the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
Nikki Aitken has performed to sell out audiences at the Spiegeltent with her brand new show Viva La Franglaise. An all original cabaret written with acclaimed composer and pianist Matthew Carey. Last year Nikki performed as Bec in Mother, Wife and The Complicated Life by Amity Dry and as Mrs Perlman in ‘Milk and Honey’ (Magnormous)
In 2010, Nikki toured to Sydney and New York with her show The Attack Of The 40 Foot Wedge! (Best Comedy Show 2009, Adelaide Theatre Guide, Special Commendation for Excellence in Origincal Song Writing and Best Cabaret Nominee, Adelaide Fringe 2009).
Nikki attended the highly acclaimed International Cabaret Convention At Yale this year where she trained with Award winning American performers and Master teachers such as Sally Mayes, Jason Graee, Faith Prince, Tovah Feldshuh, Sharon McKnight, Pamela Myers, and Laurel Masse.
Nikki was a guest for Mark Nadler’s HOOTENANY and was selected to perform for Queenie Van Der Sandts Masterclass at The Adelaide Cabaret Festival 2010. Nikki also performed for the honorable Bob Hawke at his 80th Birthday.
Nikki’s other cabaret credits include, ‘My Significant Other Is A Mobile Phone’, ‘Stick It To The Man’, ‘Permanently Temporary’ and ‘I Put Out On The Second Date.’
Nikki hosts Cabaret Live! A Cabaret open mic night at The Butterfly Club on the first Wednesday of every month.
