In southern India, flowers bloom constantly, ready for picking, offering, wearing and enjoying year round. But here in New Jersey, the daffodils and plum blossoms have finally just burst through!
Flowers seem to be spiritual beings, and taking time to enjoy how they look, feel, smell and even taste (be sure you know which flowers are edible!) can boost a sattvic - clear, peaceful, stable, grateful - state of mind. Feast your senses on the blossoms of the season.
For some of us, spring is high allergy season. If that’s the case for you, be sure to tune up your digestion and dig the neti pot out from under the bathroom sink to keep those sinuses clear and clean!
