This time lapse piece was made in 2005 to demonstrate the labour that goes into cutting a stencil. I had to give a talk at a Kangol sales conference (something I’m not adept to usually doing) and thought playing a dvd  would get me off the hook..Why talk about it when you can watch the film.

Really complicated stencils can take days to cut and is largely an unseen part of the art form. A  second and lengthier edit is on the cards.
