Who is ensemble 48?
Ensemble 48 performs old and new music, music by others and music by us, music that’s serious and music that’s silly, music that’s medicinal, and music that’s pure junk-food.
Created as a consortium of composers and performers, Ensemble 48 is committed to exhibiting the vanguard of new music. Ensemble 48 brings its members’ influences and experiences to every performance, fusing the alloys of concert music, pop, rock, hip-hop, electronic, and performance art.

Ensemble 48 scores "Nosferatu" LIVE

Another magical display of our semi-improvisatory style, as we score F. W. Murnau's 1922 silent horror masterpiece live. It's all part of NUVO's big Halloween party in White River State Park (meet by the outdoor stage)
