I moved to New York in 2000 and was immediately cast as Ramona in Theatreworks/USA’s national tour of Ramona Quimby. Not only was it a big break for my career, but a life-changing personal event; I began dating a fellow actor in the cast, actor/variety artist Nicholas A. Moran. The relationship grew, and in February 2005 we were married.

Nicholas and I now live on the Upper West Side of Manhattan with our two (canine) children, Aspen and Oliver. When I’m not acting I enjoy cooking vegan meals and assisting Nicholas in brewing our own beer.

I grew up in Kansas City, MO, raised by my mother, author/speaker/life coach Victoria Moran. I began taking acting classes at the age of 9, and before I knew it, I was auditioning, performing in local Equity productions, attending acting, dance and singing lessons, and loving every minute of it.
