I just found out that Linda Berkovich, one of our African Medicine Women in New Jersey, has passed on. From God Allah we come, and to God Allah we return. I pray she is resting peacefully now, embraced by the “bosom of Abraham” or whatever concept of eternity she cherished. I regret i didn’t get to attend the wake or the funeral. This week was all kinds of crazy with car trouble and so on. No excuses. I can only feel glad I attended the funeral when her mother died several years ago. Judy (Linda’s sister) knows I care.

I love you Linda. So much have I learned from you. So long, Sis. I’ll see you when I get there.
