Why did I agree to drive to Atlanta from New Jersey? Have no clue. I feel pretty good, just still coming down a bit from all the travel. I decided to stay home since the contractors are finishing the kitchen.
OH! The family reunion. Wonderfully hosted by cousin Girlie (Veronica) and her son and grandson. Always great to see everyone. My family is a microcosm of our general community, probably the world. All the stuff is there--drama, youth, beauty, brawn, wisdom, and possibility, not to mention the health issues people are having.
Mom is having issues and it can be from all the traveling, 15 hours back and forth. I also thinking she’s mourning Aunt Evey who died in December. See the obit / info supplied on entries Dec. 14 and Dec. 19. Plus Aunt Joy couldn’t be there, she’s in California with Shelly. So Mom’s usual supporters, her two sisters, were not in the house.
Striving to help out Mom and be on vacation is compounded by my zeal to create this new website, thehealmobile.com. This is loads of fun and very exciting, but I can do very little else.
