Oh, what a month and what a moontime to be in. Don’t know what the moon was in, but I do get Inez Singletary’s Lunations, which you can get too if you’re inclined to follow how the heavenly bodies, especially the moon, may impact your life like the tide and weather affects when it’s time to fish or harvest.

Although we did not make it to Anguilla, we experienced our own summit inquiry which had us arrive at the same one as the 2008 International Black Summit: “What aspect of myself am I present to when I am present to____?”

I had a honeymoon unlike anything I ever dreamed could be possible, experiencing highs I never had during the first marriage.  I became very aware of miracles when I realized this man in my life loves to cook and kept barbequeing, all month long.

Then Barbara Ann Teer died, and I listened her being expressed through worshippers and lovers and decryers. Her memorial program contained many beautiful statements and photogaphs such as the above. Of course the drumming was otherworldly. In one of my meditations she came to me and hugged me, saying she was a closet Muslim. My immediate thought was--How stupid is that! Either me or she, I wasn’t sure which. Then I realized the communication was sincere and I accepted it and she disappeared. It had me rethink about quote-unquote non-Muslims and who they are to me. I revisited my feeling that the Muslims in my book are radical activists and revolutionary spirits of a wide swathe, much wider than one would get by admiring flowing robes.

“Tell no lies, claim no easy victories,” said Amiclar Cabral. This is one of the many statements Jonathan and I share among our favorite quotes...It is not important whether the public thought Teer was Muslim, or if I think my little daydream/meditation makes her more acceptable to me as a judgmental a-hole.  Instead, I am looking at the impact of her work on others, the legacy she left, her example of womanhood and her ability to see a dream through to reality. Very major things IMHO. I saw one of my favorite sisters Morenike Olabunmi, filmmaker of Jamaican rural practice of Yoruba,  at the memorial. This was the second priceless reason for going, as we held hands and swayed in the mutual understanding of what Teer’s life meant, walking together toward the Riverside Church where proceedings were held.

I listened to a Young Living Feelings Kit CD, which discusses the beginnings of essential oil use among the Africans of Kemet, and how oils were more precious than gold and used to remove bad or evil spirits from the head. Essentially Gary Young says the chakras must be opened and balanced for people to be emotionally healthy.  To protect the heart chakra, other chakras close down first. Oils help to open the chakras and balance the energies. People don’t surrender to their emotions unless their male and females energies are balanced... Both emotional and physical problems are preceded by spiritual problems... (The oil called) Forgiveness removes the imprint on spiritual tissue... That’s why we can’t forgive till we forget...
Rub Forgiveness around the navel; this central location goes to all meridians; then put a drop under the nose
  1.         Melissa is oil#1 (ingredient inForgiveness)
  2.         Angelica is helpful for a child-like state
  3.         Ylang Ylang balances male/female
  4.         Sandalwood helps hormonal balance
  5.         Frankincense gives spiritual uplift
Release--the oil, let’s feelings come to the surface. One must be in a space with time to listen to yourself; give yourself enough time. You need silence and quiet. If you can’t use Present Time.
Inner child--use on pad of the thumb, then suck the thumb, put it on the roof of your mouth--this brings you back to your identity.
  1.          It contains orange which kids like. It is the preferred flavor. Tangerine evokes happiness.
  2.          Neroli has a high frequency and is highly valued.
  3.         Spruce is grounding
  4.         Jasmine, for the feminine, to balance other male energies of the other oils.

Apply Valor after all to fingertips to notch of back of skull. This activates DNA, rewrites scripts, helps let go of a lot of stuff.

Then use Highest Potential (which does NOT come in the Feelings Kit!)

Ritual of Cleansing  the Flesh and The Blood is an oil-based modality recently uncovered in Kemet (ancient Egypt).  This photo from Barba Ann Teer’s memorial program demonstrates another way to cleanse or purify.

Feelings -- Contain Them to Your Loss
