Montreal Jazz

Godin has been making guitars up in Canada and the USA for a few years now. I remember when i first bought my Godin LG, their first electric guitar. It’s as smooth today as it was 10 years ago. In fact, although the LG is still available now, it’s not the same guitar that first came out. I’ve played many guitars ever since, but none feel as good on the fret board as the Godin shape.
Now that they’ve come out with a Jazzy semi hollow, I just can’t imagine anything that can look or feel or
LAB series: seriously fab
Wednesday, 22 November 2006
Shaving has never been more fun. First it was the Gillette 5 blade Fusion Power to get that super close shave. Then i needed something to relieve the shave burn, however mild, without a strong after shave perfume. I read about the LAB series in various magazines and decided to give it a try. True, it looks plain, it’s pretty expensive, and just not that exciting in terms of marketing. But perhaps that’s the reason why it’s got to be good. It doesn’t need fancy packaging and super model
GAP goes (RED)
Thursday, 9 November 2006
GAP is one of the companies which helped launch Product RED into stardom. The RED nano was mentioned previously, which is still currently RED HOT. Instead of going through all the “red is for charity” deal, i would just like to say that this shirt is awesome.
The basic mens’ Red T shirt feels soft and thin. The cotton is 100% African cotton and made in Africa. I don’t think any of the other RED products can claim that. I don’t really care too much for the Charity part as it’s just another
2.0 comes to the macbook!
Wednesday, 8 November 2006
Those that bought the Macbook recently will surely be disappointed with the announcement of the updated processor Core 2 Duo. Or will they? Actually, the computer has not changed much as a whole. It’s still the same slim dimensions, same magnet AC connector, same 13 inch wide screen, same built in iSight, same apple remote, same click keyboard, and pretty much the same in all respects.
What makes a Macbook great is the operating system, the integrated software and hardware, and all the
Nikon replaces the D50?
Tuesday, 7 November 2006
Recent rumors say that a Nikon DSLR is coming up called the D40. DSLR’s are fun to use and have a larger range of functions. The D40 may draw a lot of people into the DSLR format especially with the smaller size and SLR qualities. Functionally, it sounds like the D50 is going to be replaced. With the same megapixel count at 6.0, faster ISO from 200 to 3200, and a larger screen at 2.5inches (see photo), the D40 sounds like a good deal. Nikon is famous for quality lens and quality body
the Apple remote
Monday, 6 November 2006
When Apple first came out with a remote, i thought it was the silliest thing. like many things “apple”, the genius is not obvious at first sight. i’ve been thoroughly impressed (and sometimes disappointed) by all the great mac products that have come out in the past 5 years.
The remote is so simple. Too simple even. it’s slightly larger than the first generation iPod shuffle, and has the same button layout except for the additional “menu” button. can’t do much with this thing... i
World’s slimmest phone. Period.
Monday, 6 November 2006
Cell phones began to get slim with Motorola’s V3 paving the way, making it cool to be slim. People realized how much more convenient it was to be slim, how it fits better in the pocket, but not in the hand.
A few months ago, i finally got rid of my Sony Ericsson 3G and switched to the X820 by Samsung. Dubbed as the thinnest phone in the world, it’s a thin as an iPod nano. yes... that thin.
There are pro’s and cons with having such a thin cell. Obviously, it looks great and people are
Brits and Burberry in a bottle
Monday, 6 November 2006
Burberry is known for its rain coats, the british company has been lining them with the famous plaid pattern for decades. These days, there isn’t a designer brand that doesn’t have perfume, and Burberry is no exception. In fact, it’s a little difficult to choose a unique fragrance with so many out there.
The Burberry Brit has a woody smell and the top notes include mandarin and ginger. It’s an oriental touch and perhaps purposely done because of the long history the British have with
