Newnham St Peter’s

The school is located in a pretty little village in the Forest of Dean, South Gloucestershire. We like it here because it is peaceful and there is lots of nature to enjoy.

Our school has 4 classrooms, an art room and a library.

There are lots of fun things to do at Newnham School, and work and play are closely linked. We also have strong ties with our church, and with lots of local agencies and businesses such as Creative Partnerships.

As a small school of around 100 we work closely together, with projects like the buddies scheme, making us feel more like a big family than a school.

Our school has a friendly atmosphere and great results so please feel free to telephone to arrange a visit any time and request a Visual School Prospectus.

This website is all about us, enjoy!!

News Flash:
IMPORTANT (Change of Venue)
Please note that there is a new venue for our own new style leavers’ assembly/service, which will take place at 2 p.m. on the last day of term (Friday 17 July). ALL PARENTS are invited to join us AT THE CHURCH, NOT SCHOOL as originally advertised. The service will finish just before 3 p.m. so parents unable to make the start of the service can come in to collect the children. ALL THE CHILDREN WILL NEED TO BE COLLECTED FROM CHURCH, AS WE WILL NOT BE RETURNING TO SCHOOL. You will need to come in to the church so the staff can be sure every child is safely with the correct adult etc. Please note that it will be necessary for you to collect any PE kit and other such belongings from school the day before!
