Sales growth opportunity

The Inyo Register, a three-times a week newspaper located in the heart of California's Eastern Sierra, is looking for an advertising sales representative who is looking to grow into a newspaper sales manager.

This three-member outside sales staff represents the newspaper, the website, and an array of specialty publications that includes the annual Eastern Sierra Fishing Guide.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong understanding of the newspaper sales process and a history of creative problem solving along with a commitment to customer service, planning, time management and follow-through. A college graduate with newspaper sales experience will be preferred, but no serious application will be ignored. Reliable transportation and a clean driving record are required.

We are a small communnity newspaper where all departments pitch in to help when needed, and it is that team attitude that provides the opportunity for learning and growth for the qualified applicant.
