What do you call a Lazy Baby Kangaroo?

A Pouch Potato!  That is one of the best Laffy Taffy jokes I have ever gotten so I thought I would share.  But I have been a super hoppy baby kangaroo lately---Minglu and I have finished editing the Celano photos, I have been experimenting with file-renaming using Photoshop Elements (which involves a lot of steps since the filenames are complicated, well, complicated compared to filenames I have created before--I’m sure the computer world contains many complicated filenames that I could even imagine in my dreams.), I have begun to clean up the metadata for the manuscripts already online, and I inventoried two boxes of Medieval Manuscript research boxes which include several items that I’m hoping to read for background and include as references in the corresponding manuscript’s metadata.  I am also feeling super excited for the ICPL podcast!  Jill, teen intern Brian, fabulous teen reader Kim, and I recorded our first segments and other teens will be joining us this Thursday for the final segment on the new book in the Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn (which should be very heated since many people have very strong opinions about this series-completing book--I happened to LOVE it).  So far Audacity and the USB microphone are working serenely for our purposes, but we are interested to see how they handle a larger group discussion. We have begun work on creating the RSS feed code, but we are not yet sure if we will have access to the library’s servers or how that will work.  Hopefully, the podcast and blog will be online by next week!
