Tanya is a postdoctoral fellow. She studies mechanisms of somatosensory processing and attention, focusing on the thalamus, neocortex, and the interactions among these structures.
Georgia is a graduate student in the Program in Neuroscience. She is studying sensorimotor deficits in autism spectrum disorders.
Wendy is a graduate student at Hunter College, New York. She and her mentor, Dr. Phil Zeigler, collaborate with us on a project studying the role of the motor cortex in controlling voluntary movements of the vibrissae.
Marie is a graduate student in the Program in Neuroscience. She is studying mechanisms of sensory motor integration and attention in the superior colliculus.
Xiao-Hong is our lab manager, and is responsible for our histological, immunocytochemical and morphometric experiments.
Ying a senior research associate in the lab, and is our patch-clamp specialist. Ying's work focuses on synaptic integration by cortical neurons. She is also our resident expert in Chinese culture, medicine and mythology.
Radi is a postdoctoral fellow. His work focuses on thalamic mechanisms involved in Central Pain Syndrome.
Raimi is a postdoctoral fellow. Her work focuses on cortical mechanisms involved in Central Pain Syndrome.

Vicky was a postdoctoral fellow in the lab. She is an Assistant Professor at the Uniformed Services University, MD.
Greg graduated in 2000. He is an Assistant Professor at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
Nate graduated in 2007. He is a postdoctoral fellow with Ron Harris-Warrick at Cornell.
Jackie was a postdoctoral fellow in the lab. She is an Assistant Professor at the Center for Neurobiology & Behavior, Columbia University, New York.
Alexis graduated in 2003. She is a postdoctoral fellow with Dr. Sacha Nelson at Brandeis University.
Liz was a postdoctoral fellow in the lab. She is currently at the Department of Biomedical Sciences, University of Maryland Dental School.
Nora was a postdoctoral fellow in the lab. She is currently with the Department of Pharmacology, University of Maryland School of Medicine.
Margo was a postdoctoral fellow in the lab. She is currently at the Inst. Biologie & Morphologie, Univ Lausanne, Switzerland.
Lauren graduated in 2005. She is a postdoctoral fellow with Dr. Don Katz at Brandeis University.
Ebo graduated in 2005. He is a postdoctoral fellow with Dr. Dan Simons at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.
Emilio was a Research Assistant Professor in the lab. He now has a faculty position at the University of Texas, Brownsville.
Daniel was a postdoctoral fellow in the lab. He is now with the Department of Neurology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine.
Larisa Sellers, M.D. Larisa was our lab manager, and returned to her native Russia in 2006.
Melissa Slawecki
Melissa was our second lab manager and left to work in the biotech industry.
Jason graduated in 2005. He is a postdoctoral fellow with Dr. Kirk Thompson at the National Eye Institute, NIH.
Alison was our third lab manager. Whilst working in the lab, she attended law school at night and is now working as a lawyer at the University of Maryland, Baltimore.
