The BCLA Reebok 4 Real Human Rights Student Advocates
Who we are and what we do
We are a group of students, teachers, and Reebok executives working on a year-long project called Reebok 4 Real. We were chosen as one of six Boston high schools to compete for ten thousand dollars by designing and implementing a campaign to support our human rights activist, Mr. Otto Saki, a human rights lawyer from Zimbabwe.
We read about many people working to better human rights conditions around the world, but we chose to work with Mr. Otto Saki because his biography caught our attention. When we read it, we felt his belief in Zimbabwe. We were impressed by how positive his words were when much of information we found about Zimbabwe’s current economic condition was heartbreaking. We knew he is a leader and we wanted to reach out to him from around the world to try and help him make a difference.
