Please to say that Gerry is now back home safe and well if a little tired, in spite of  pouring rain, gale force winds, stomach upsets, being knocked off and falling off. In all he enjoyed the ride very much and would recommend it to you all , great bunch of people scenery fantastic and big hills.
The administration  by Discover Adventure was out of this world.

The Wilier New Forest 100 Sportive is set against the stunning backdrop
of the New Forest National Park. The course sweeps through the quiet
leafy country roads, taking in some challenging hills such as the 25%
Blissford Hill and breathtaking views.
 
The event is open to a wide range of riders and abilities, with the options
of a 100 mile epic; 70 mile standard and 40 mile fun route.
 
The spectacular scenery of the New Forest National Park, combined with
wild animals grazing at the roadside and picturesque villages, make this
a truly special sportive!
Event Facilities: Free Parking, Free High 5 Energy Bar and Gel, up to 3 feed-stations (dependent on Route), 
Full sign-posted route, mechanical support, Free Bike Lub Station, event timing, showers and toilets, refreshments, maps and rider insurance.




The Wilier South Downs 100 Sportive is a fantastic event taking in the
very best roads and climbs the South Downs has to offer. The course
offer all abilities an enjoyable day with a challenge to suit all capabilities.
 
The event is open to a wide range of riders and abilities, with the options
of a 100 mile epic; 70 mile standard and 40 mile fun route.
 
This stunning circuit of the very best bits of the South Downs including
the famous and challenging Ducton and Uppark Hills.
 
Event Facilities: Free Parking, Free High 5 Energy Bar and Gel, up to 3 feed-stations (dependent on Route), 
Full sign-posted route, mechanical support, Free Bike Lub Station, event timing, showers and toilets, refreshments, maps and rider insurance.
