Born to musicians, father jazz, mother gospel, dNessa's introduction

to life was through song.  As an independent artist and composer, performing contemporary to classical, her career has spanned from North America to Asia, blending together a diverse and unique expression of what we call music.

Music works include composing lyrics, providing vocal arrangements and voice overs for commercial jingles such as Sony Vaio, Nestea, Daiwa House, Nescafe, Nova English, Kirin Fire Coffee, support vocals for Stevie Wonder,  Dydo Coffee featuring Yujiro Ishihara, Fuji Film and Dee Beers Diamonds.  Television, movie and book soundtracks, "Yours Only" for La Belle Epoque Movie, "Pokemon" TV series in Japan, Disney mobile phone and Hana’s “Tiki & Dodo” adventure books/CD soundtracks reveals her diverse studio vocal sound. 

Other recordings and compositions include recording projects for Dancemania, Bass Patrol, Japanese artist Morning Musume English Projects, Japan's godfather of DJ's, Tohru Takahashi, DJ Yutaka, DJ Koo, Rapper Equal, Shalla, TRF, Max, Speed, Yuki Koyanagi, Tekeshi Nakatsuka, and touring with soul legend, Masayuki Suzuki, to name a few. dNessa has also shared the stage either opening or performing with legendary musicians including the late Cab Calloway, the late Theodore Marcus "Teddy" Edwards, George Clinton, Kim Pensyl, Bernard Wright, grammy winner Roy Hargrove, Bobby Sparks and the late Robert Palmer.

Since opening the newest luxury hotel, the cities tallest skyscraper, Ritz Carlton in Tokyo she’s was offered an extended  contract. dNessa was invited to perform at the Ritz Carlton Bahrain Luxury Hotel Resort and also opened the Ritz Carlton Reserve Phulay Bay, Thailand.
