Neal Stephenson: Identity

By using this website at all, you’re taking it on faith that it really is the website of Neal Town Stephenson, author of Snow Crash and other books. I don’t recommend being so trusting. In a perfect world, people would make use of the available cryptographic protocols for verifying identity. But hardly anyone does. I used to maintain public keys for such purposes, but they were used so rarely that I lost track of the pass phrases. Currently I have no usable public keys. If that changes, this is where I’ll post them.

I’ve been the victim of some minor identity theft in the past, but, to my knowledge there are no currently active thefts of my identity. It’s been years since any crazy, inexplicable charges have showed up on my credit card. If that changes, I’ll post notice here.
