Montana is great...usually. This past week we’ve been dealing with a lot of smoke from forest fires in the area.
If you’re like me, the first time that I heard fires were in the area I thought that it was no big deal. After all, how could 26,000 acres of burning forest really affect me 20, 100, even 400 miles away?
I think that this picture helps to show how serious these fires are. This is a picture from a NASA satellite showing the Wicked Creek fire just south of Livingston. That’s a lot of smoke.
