Boundbrook Library: Transforming Lives
Seven years ago, Maria Fernandez left her home in Brazil and settled in New Jersey. Without knowing much English or Spanish, it was a challenge communicating, especially with her son’s teachers. With the language barrier now a cause of great concern, Fernandez knew that she had to learn English, so she visited the Bound Brook Library to inquire about English as a Second Language classes.
