Nic Borst, a native of Boulder CO, has been training and racing in the sport of Whitewater Canoe Slalom for over eight years.  Nic has represented the US in over a dozen countries as a member of  the Jr National Wildwater and Slalom Teams, as an independent athlete and on the US Slalom Pan AM team.  A graduate of Gettysburg College in Gettysburg PA, Nic works as a coach, while balancing training for the US Olympic Team. He also volunteers as secretary of the Witewater Slalom Foundation, a non profit organization, which promotes the growth and development of Canoe Slalom and paddling in general around the US.
