“I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth.” (1 Corinthians 3:6)
For many years now, our Lord Jesus Christ has been leading the four Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod congregations of Bismarck and Mandan to plant a new Mission Congregation in North Bismarck. We began with prayer and with a love for the truth of the Gospel. We continue with prayer and with the work that our Lord has given us. Our mission is to plant a high-quality, doctrinally sound, spiritually meaningful Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod congregation in North Bismarck.
And Jesus came and said to them, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age." (Matthew 28:16-20)
For where two or three are gathered in My name, there am I among them. (Matthew 18:20)
Our churches teach that one holy Church is to remain forever. The Church is the congregation of saints in which the Gospel is purely taught and the Sacraments are correctly administered. (Augsburg Confession, Article VII)
Greetings in the Lord!
Our mission is to plant a member congregation of The Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod in North Bismarck, North Dakota.
