I am a licensed, certified clinical social worker with a private practice of psychotherapy in the Towson area of Baltimore, Maryland. I specialize in helping individuals who face a crisis of change in their lives, whether due to serious illness, death and dying, grief and loss, aging, caregiving or relationship issues. Such events can cause depression, anxiety, and a threat to the sense of meaning in our lives.
My own life experiences led me to this career in counseling. I chose social work because of its philosophy of honoring the individual, seeing the person as an integral part of his or her environment, and building on each person’s strengths to achieve personal goals.
