2 steps forward, 1 step back
I worked another 6 rows of the Faux Russian Stole while sitting in a cafe after work today.   I was supposed to meet up with my friend, Jen, but she got sick and couldn’t make it.  Hope you’re better soon, Jen!  I was disappointed but used the time to catch up on a bit of knitting.

Pretty proud of speeding through so many rows so quickly, I stopped to admire my work.  What was that?  D’oh!  The yarnovers are misaligned, seemingly off by a stitch -- stacked rather than angled.  Instead of looking like a diamond (in the blue circle), I’ve got an open box (in the red circle).  Luckily, I only have 2 rows to tink.  Believe me, I learned my lesson early on when I didn’t check my work diligently.  I had to frog back 2 lifelines!

I use unwaxed dental floss for as my lifeline.  You can see a hint of it in this pic.  Not sure how well it works, due to its flimsiness, but it gives me piece of mind when I have to undo a few rows.  What do you use?
