Or the “My Kid is Cuter Than Your Kid” segment.  Actually, there were a couple of things from this last week that I wanted to record so that I would not forget.  

 

Emerson has started playing a little mimic game.  She will stick out her tongue until I respond in like manner.  Then she will stick out her tongue again.  I made Nathan watch so that he could validate me that I wasn’t just making it up.  I was especially validated though last Saturday at a Bat Mitzvah that we attended.  Emerson was held by many of our friends who also attended.  I was amused to watch a few different people engage in her little game.  She also tries to laugh a little.

 

Last week Rowan said the closing prayer for Family Home Evening.  Nathan was helping her and said, “Thanks that Family Night went good.”  Rowan said, “Thanks that Family Night went well.”  It is a good thing one of her parents talks purdy.

 

Rowan loves the Max and Ruby books.  She also likes to watch the show.  I turned the corner yesterday and saw Rowan with her hands stretched out in front of her.  Then she said, “No Max you stay here.”  When she saw me, she said, “Max and Ruby came to my house to play with me.”
