A Yearly Tradition...
Every year my son D and I make some kind of music for a CD for Christmas gifts. This year, rather than indulging in yet another techno rendition of jingle bells, we decided to take advantage of D’s growing singing ability and do something original.
I started to think about what would make sense to a 6 year old about Christmas, and given the commercialism of our age (and his I spose...) what kind of gift giving is appropriate to think about. And happy birthday Jesus was written....the monologue is all of D’s creation, uncoached even....
It’s our hope in this new year that we will truly give God all we are and have. Blessings
