This podcast is a collection of writings and songs, from scripture and the Christian community over thousands of years. I hope this can serve as a tool to create space to be aware of God. Our days are full, our minds are overloaded, and the thing that we need more than anything else....space...is the very thing we find almost impossible to create.
These writings and subsequent songs are about precisely this, embedding God-awareness into our daily lives. If you would like to learn more about the writers and the context of their lives information is readily available. The texts are taken from Deuteronomy 6 (suggested reading Deuteronomy 5-6), The Cloud of Unknowing - anonymous 14th century english writing (the writings are available here), John 15 (suggested reading John 14-15), and Letters by a Modern Mystic by Frank Laubach (his writing is available here)
