Crandall Enterprises

My name is Ken Crandall and I was born in Los Angeles, CA in 1945, where I lived in the Southern California area until I graduated from the California State Polytechnic College in 1969, with a Bachelor of Architecture Degree.  Upon graduation, I became an Officer in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, where I obtained exceptional field experience in Montana where I was inspecting the infrastructure construction projects for the development of the Anti-Ballistic Missile System.

For the next 28 years, I was involved with the inspection of single-family and multi-family housing with the Federal Housing Administration and the Department of Housing and Urban Development.  In 1997, I retired from HUD as the Chief Architect for Single Family Development.

After moving to the Lake Anna, VA area in 1999, I became licensed as a General Contractor, where I design and build single-family homes.  I also install and complete modular homes constructed by North American Housing Corporation.

Also, I will sit down with you at my computer to design and develop the Home of Your Dreams.  At the completion of this design, I will prepare the construction plans for submittal to the building department for the issuance of the building permit.  If you would like to build the home yourself and act as your own general contractor, I can advise you throughout the construction process.

My passion is “Cruising” to different destinations around the world.  Please visit the High Sea Cruises page to see some great photo pics of different places my wife Ann and I have traveled to.
