A family membership for the 2009 season is just $425.  Checks should be made payable to "Ashcroft Community".  We are, once again, also offering three SPECIAL INCENTIVES for 2009:

1. 1.As an Early Bird, if your account is paid in full by May 15th, 2009 your family membership is reduced to $375!
   

2. 2.To help Early Birds, you can now pay your pool membership in three installments:
   

1. a.$100 due by March 20th
   

2. b.$125 due by April 20th
   

3. c.$150 due by May 15th
   

3. 3.You will receive a $75 rebate for every non-Ashcroft family which you refer that joins and pays in full!

Our pool is licensed to operate in accordance with Anne Arundel County Code, Article 11, Title 14 of 2005.  That means:

1. Our pool manager has received formal training and is county-certified in pool operations, including: water chemistry, equipment operation, pool administration and statutory requirements.
   
   

2. Prior to opening for the season our pool is inspected by a county health officer. The inspection covers machinery testing, site cleanliness, verification of required documentation and an inventory of safety equipment.  A written certification by this officer is required prior to opening, and throughout the season we are subject to unannounced visits by county inspectors to ensure we maintain compliance.
   
   

3. At all times during operating hours we maintain a lifeguard.  Our guards possess a valid lifeguard certificate from the American Red Cross, Young Men's/Women’s Christian Association, the Boy/Girl Scouts of America, or similar organizations recognized by the County Health Department.  To receive this certification our guards must also be certified in CPR and first aid training.
