Not much to say this time, but there was a glitch in notifying y’all about my New Year’s post. It’s up, “Singing In the New.”

SOMETHING THERE IS THAT DOESN’T LIKE A WALL

Reading Yes! www.YesMagazine.org a print magazine of positive news about community and the environment is always an upper. Here’s a little sample from the Winter 2008 issue:

In October, the mayors of Brownsville, Del Rio, and El Paso, Texas, showed their opposition to a border fence by denying access to city property to U. S. government officials assigned to begin design work on the fence. (Updates on the “No Wall” campaign at www.notexasborderwall.com. )

Also take a look at the article (photo above) on “The Fine Art of Raising a Ruckus,” subhead “Rebel Clowns.” http://www.yesmagazine.org/article.asp?id=2090

ANOTHER GLITCH

I thought I’d have a post Claudia wrote about how we acquired our dog, Molly, but it’s lost somewhere in her computer (Claudia’s, that is, not Molly’s). In case we never find it, here’s a photo of Molly and me anyway. She’s a rescue dog. We think she’s part poodle and part Maltese terrier. Actually, we think she’s part monkey.
