In addition to her other work, Carmen is very well known for her Puerto Rican Cuisine. Carmen is proud to have shared her culinary skills as the Puerto Rican Food Stylist for the award winning film produced by PBS Master Piece Theatre and written by Esmeralda Santiago, “Almost a Woman.”
As a result of her work, Carmen was invited to cater the premiere of the film on Paramount Studios lot, serving over 500 people over 2,500 Puerto Rican Appetizers. Carmen has also been the caterer of choice for the California Puerto Rican Parade Association. Even with her busy TV shooting schedule, Carmen still caters for private events.
