a view of one block in san francisco’s chinatown at the end of market day. it is composited from a series of photos shot on january 26, 2007 with a digital leica while walking on stockton between broadway and pacific. as we move down the block everyone is shopping, selling or considering the window-hung beauty of dried flowers, dead fish and smoked meat. the music is by bill pearson.
