Approximately 29 members and their CISs of three Sister Clubs from Japan arrived in Hawaii on October 5, 2006 to participate in Lions events in Honolulu.   Also participating in the Hawaii events was a Lion member and CIS of the Tokyo-D330-A Lions Club.   Members and CISs from the Hiroshima, Higashi Osaka Nishi, Osaka Minami, Honolulu and Tokyo Lions Clubs  participated in a Friendship Tree Picnic in commemoration of a tree that was planted on Magic Island in 2001.   The tree was planted as a symbol of international friendship between the Hiroshima, Higashi Osaka Nishi, Osaka Minami, Kurashiki-Achi and the Honolulu Lions Clubs.  Everyone had a wonderful time as old friendships were renewed and new friends made at the picnic.  A delicious lunch was provided by the host Honolulu Lions while everyone enjoyed the wonderful sunny weather!
