Long time no see... due to internet/time sparcity I haven‘t updated my blog since I arrived in Hong Kong.
Here comes a summary of the last view days:
02.05.: I arrived at Hong Kong International Airport at 14.20h local time and got picked up by the taxi driver of the company, who drove me straight to the company.
After having signed some papers, I went to my accomodation and for food, accompagnied by Maryse the Canadian Aiesec intern (she is a sweety-heart: arrived three weeks earlier and is looking a bit after me)
03.05: first real day at work. I met my boss and the flatmate of Maryse, Caroline. Caroline is from Malaysia, speaks Manadarin and Cantonese and is taking care that Maryses and my language barriers do not stop us from getting what we want
Lunch was a welcome lunch for me, so my departement went with me to a nice Chinese restaurant.
04.05: Second day at work. In the evening we went for a Korean BBC with a whole bunch of AIESEC Interns. Afterwards it was going out time: dancing on Hong Kong Island.
05.05: Maryse prepared pancakes for breakfast. Later on Diana, an Aiesec intern from Columbia dropped by and we prepared dinner together
06.05: lots of sleeping and eating with Maryse and Diana. Late in the afternoon, we found our way to Golden Coast, one of Hong Kongs beaches, where also another intern and a colleague of his joined our little group...
