Natsch in Hong Kong

For the first time in over two years the Typhoon Number 8 signal got hoisted. Did not tell me anything in the first place, but my whole working place got really excited, because it means that you can leave early from work.
Actually the observatory annonces that in two hours it will hoist the signal and companies start to give their employees leave. The whole city closes down.

The normal thing to do, if there is Typhoon number 8 is to have a Typhoon-Party. As we were only 4 girls up for it and our fridges of frustrating emptiness, we decided to go out to a restaurant in our closed by Shopping-Mall never the less.
Also in there live had stopped. All shops were closed (not at all normal at 7pm) and we had difficulties finding an open restaurant. We finally found a Japanese and had some nice Hot-Pot to go with the weather.

As we got out again, the Typhoon had passed. We learned the next day that it had turned slightly before hitting Hong Kong and stayed on the sea, what made it ways less dangerous.

Our boat trip - planned for the next day - got postponed nevertheless. A typhoon stays a typhoon, even if only signal number 1 or 2 are hoisted.
