... and so I can finally up-date my blog again.
We finished moving and had our house-warming party. Fitting to the location of our flat - in the flower market - the topic were flowers... and the wine bottles we emptied therefore got immediately a use as vase.
Today was my first Madarin class (I am switching from „difficult“ chinese - meaning Cantonese - to „easy“ Chinese, meaning Mandrin... well, we will see about the easy part) and tomorrow will be an extremly busy day at work. This is because, I will be leaving for Beijing on Wednesday, for 6 days. When I was planning my trip, it was perfectly timed: One phase of my project completed, the next phase not started, yet. Mean-while (mainly due to the busy schedule of our CEO), everything got re-scheduled five times and now my trip falls in the middle of an extremly busy period.
So I will got to work early tomorrow, leave late and hope that no major blow-up occurs while I‘m gone...
But obviously: the idea of seeing some friends again and the great wall and the forbidden city... very nice prospects and absolutely worth working some overtime.
