In order to photograph the prints properly for our website, her prints were placed on a black background prior to framing, thus allowing the details of the paper edges to be visible. When framed, the prints are floated on white archival paper which illuminate the edges. She typically uses a black gallery frame which highlights the black ink beautifully.

what does e.v. mean?

Edition Varied - A numbered group of prints that vary slightly from one to another. It may be due to different inking techniques, color, or the addition of certain changing elements. It is related to the term Monoprint although the intention is to maintain an overwhelmingly similar impression from print to print rather than producing differing or unique images. Also called variable edition and noted as a fraction plus the letters e.v.

Ramona’s artwork takes our appreciation of printmaking to a whole new level. Her prints range from nature-inspired imagery to Italian architecture. She hand paints each of her prints with layers of rich hues and signs each piece appropriately. Ramona takes great pride in her work and it shows in every detail. My prints reflect my interest in the natural form. At times it is literal and other times it is metaphorical. There has been a reoccurring interest for me in gardening, geology, and traveling to Arches National Park and Europe. My love for fish comes from having been raised in a family of fisherman. Currently I am learning the art of fly fishing.
