The day has finally arrived. This afternoon I am going to get my ESI (epidural spinal injection) that will hopefully provide some pain relief. The docs are going in under Xray guidance and injecting steroids, anti-imflammatories and pain killers directly to the affected area in my back.

Yesterday we got a new car!
We traded in our dilapidated 99 Ford Taurus (aka The Meatloaf) and got a certified pre-owned 2006 Infiniti G35 with 38k miles. We are both very excited about having the new car and we’re currently entertaining naming suggestions.

Towards the end of March, my sister and her Fiance Filip visited for a week from London. Pictures of their week are here. We took them to the zoo to see “the world’s cutest creature,” Toby, and generally ate a lot of bad American food. Not good for me in my non-workout state, but so good.
