Mark’s Blog

OK everyone, I’ve got on Twitter for my work.  So if you want to keep up with all the latest developments in medical imaging -- and even if you don’t, start following me @MedImgMark on Twitter.

That’s right.  You heard me.  I don’t care if you Twitter or not.  Time to get with it and start following me.  Easy to sign up and it’s free.  So go to Twitter.com, sign up, then go to http://www.twitter.com/MedImgMark and clock on “follow.”

Other than that amazing development, there isn’t a great deal that I have been up to.  I went back to Massachusetts for the last week of May.  Pictures of the trip are here.

It was a great trip as I got to catch up with quite a few people.  Many thanks to all those who took the time to come out and see me.  I had a great time and hope to be back there before too much longer.  I saw several companies and Universities during the trip and it is quite possible that I will be back to the area in the near future to do some follow up.

Until then, I need to find some place to go on vacation because it is just ridiculously hot here in Houston.  We want to go to Vancouver, but it doesn’t seem like the best place for a long weekend due to the travel time.  So we’re open for suggestions.  Who wants some company?  :)

Also finally got on facebook.  Not terribly into it.  So far, the only good that has come is I have reconnected to about 3 people that I am very happy to be back in touch with.  However, I don’t like that there are about 10x that many people that have sent me friend requests that I think I might be better served not accepting.  I just want to keep my number of friends low as I don’t want to have to worry about censoring myself.  Oh well, anyone who wants to can keep in touch with me over Twitter...
The Red-dog (not related to the beer) army assembles!  Note the lead dog with the wings, red lights, and red laser cannons - how cool is that?  Ok, it was a bit cooler when AJ and I were making them then they appear here....but still pretty cool for $5 at the Lego store.

Twitter and the past month
