It took until episode 6, but The Dollhouse finally delivered! What a great episode. Anyone out there still watching? What did you think? I absolutely loved it and am really looking forward to more....which means it will be cancelled in about 3 to 8 weeks.
There’s an article on it here, but it has some spoilers so don’t check it out until you’ve seen episode 6. The article ends with the following paragraph: “I'm not sure if, at this point, Dollhouse can increase the audience it failed to attract after its initial weeks, but I know I'm along for the rest of the ride. Are you?”
My sister and her fiancee Filip are currently visiting from London. They got in Saturday night but were too tired to participate in Game Night, during which we played a new game called Quelf, which was quite hilarious and a good party game.
Today we went for a jog - which was my first physical activity in the last 10 days. The back has gotten better since I have stopped working out and started taking anti-inflammatories and muscle-relaxers, but it’s still pretty bad and hurts 24/7. I’ll see if today’s run makes it any worse.
After the run, we went to Herman Park and fed the ducks, before having some Texas BBQ at Goode Co. Now they are watching “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” despite being offered such superior choices like “Stranger Than Fiction,” “Dr. Horrible’s Sing-A-Long Blog” or playing a game of Caylan. Argh. My sister always frustrates me with her sub-par choices.
A-ha! Now Filip has obviously lost interest in the movie as he has started reading his book! Score one for me. Might get them to watch Dollhouse now....MUAHAHAHAHA!
