Celtics/Lakers playing for the NBA Championship.  Just like old times.  This is great.  

 

What an amazing season.  Didn’t think the Celtics could have this big a turnaround in a single season.  Was tonight win #78 of the season?  Ridiculous.

 

Now my problem is that I will be in China for the entire NBA finals!  More horrible timing with work-related travel.  I was in Japan during the ALCS/World Series.  I left for Israel the day after the Superbowl.  And now this.  Someone get me a new job!!  But until then, someone get me access to their sling box.  (Yes, Rook - that is aimed right at you!)

 

Speaking of basketball championships - congratulations

to my TI Basketball team.  (Yeah, we’re the sweaty

guys pictured at right.)  We won our championship

game this past Wednesday night to cap off a really fun

season.  It’s our 5th title in the past 7 seasons.  It feels

especially good this year since I missed most of last

season after tearing my calf muscle.  Just great to be able

to play again.  Hmm, I think I got another year in me.

 

Though I still think the 2-on-2 victory at Lake Tahoe may be my basketball high point of the year.  Oh wait, that was last year.  Just had to bring it up again.  Sorry, brother!  

 

I hope Karma comes into play in the NBA finals.  Wouldn’t you think the way Garnett has played and acted throughout his career deserves to be rewarded more than Kobe and the Lakers?  Perhaps it’s just me -- but Lakers suck.  Hmm, I wonder who my brother-in-laws in LA are rooting for.  Probably still bitter about the Celtics beating the Rockets in 80’s....
